Carrie Trownson will never forget where she got her start; in North Bay working as a journalist for Cogeco North Bay News in 2008. After two years at the popular local news station, Carrie transitioned to CTV where she spent time covering stories and major events in the North Bay and Sudbury for 5 years.

She has since made a move as a proud employee of the provincial government. However, her commitment to Cogeco/YourTV has never wavered as Carrie still volunteers with the station covering community events. She loves covering Telethons and has been back since 2021 as a host..
